I’ve been most fortunate to be able to network with certain folks in the stunt industry from around the world, including and namely action director and filmmaker Kensuke Sonomura. From Hydra to Yugo Sakamoto’s Baby Assassins films and 2023’s Bad City, Sonomura’s work continues to speak for itself, and most fans who follow action cinema with an eye toward the Japanese film industry would agree.
